چکیده
Abstract This study investigates the future changes in precipitation extreme indices Lake Urmia Basin during period 2021–2100 compared to base (1987–2016), based on Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 models. Trend analysis was performed using Mann–Kendall test and Sen's estimator. The output of these models downscaled by Long Ashton Research Station Weather Generator method for representative concentration pathway (RCPs) 4.5 8.5. A model averaging technique employed create an ensemble model. results showed that average basin will decrease end 21st century. projection also consecutive dry day's index increases both scenarios. However, other (maximum 1-day precipitation, maximum 5-day very wet days, simple daily intensity index, wet-day precipitation) are reduced period. Moreover, slope significant trends RCP8.5 is greater more severe than RCP4.5.

Trends of Extreme Temperature Over the Lake Urmia Basin, Iran, During 1987-2014
The variability of temperature extremes has been the focus of attention during the past several decades and had a great influence on the hydrologic cycle. A long-term, high-quality daily maximum (TX) and minimum temperature (TN) of seven stations was used to determine the spatial and temporal characteristics of extreme temperature events in Lake Urmia Basin in Iran during 1987 to 2014. The RCli...

abstract recent global warming has led to a change in the global hydrological cycle and an increase in extreme events such as flood and drought at the global and continental scales. however, at the regional scale, the magnitude of warming and the resulting changes in water resources are different from one region to another. unlike air temperature whose increase is evident throughout the world, ...

متن کاملUrmia Lake (Northwest Iran): a brief review
Lake Urmia (or Ormiyeh) is one of the largest hypersaline lakes in the world and the habitat of a unique bisexual Artemia species (A. urmiana). Despite this, and several other values of the lake, little literature on it has been published. The present paper is an attempt to provide a brief review on various aspects of the lake. Urmia Lake, located in northwestern Iran, is an oligotrophic lake o...
